Good day to all! Firstly, I would like to thank & welcome each & every member of the Greatest Photos group. Thank you all for sharing your passion in photography & your support in the group. You have made the group what it is today - FABULOUS. Your passion and dedication is admirable! I thank you sincerely!
However, in view of the increasing number of members & entries, I find it necessary to post some basic rules & regulations of the group, in order to maintain within our objectives & focus - sharing of passion in photography!
As a member of the group, you are obligated to abide by these rules & regulations:
1. No spamming - All entries that are non-photography-related & deemed to be spams will be deleted immediately without prior warning. Spam, flooding, advertisements*, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are forbidden on this group. *Advertisements - only allowed for advertising of own personal photography-related items/websites; corporate advertisements are strictly forbidden and will be deleted immediately without prior warning.
2. No double posting - Do not double post (posting twice in a row), just edit your old post or delete one of them.
3. Respect - Be respectful of your fellow members. Everyone is entitled to voice an opinion, please respect it. If you happen to disagree with it, say so in a mature and adult-like manner. You will also agree, through your joining this group, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or political in nature.
4. Originality - All photos posted in the group MUST be original! Photos that are deemed to be non-original in nature will be deleted immediately without prior warning. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material.
Note that it is impossible for the administrator(s) of this group to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted entries, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this group, or this group's administrator(s). Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator of this group immediately. The administrator(s) reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
No members will be removed from the group if one or more of the above rules & regulations are broken, unless the member continously breaks them, and deemed necessary by the administrator(s).
